So, we’re here, entering the final week of 2024….
I hope this email finds you well, whether you’re able to time take off or continuing to work during this time, I hope you’re able to enjoy some peaceful moments - even if it’s just a few moments.
Invitation to take one now, soften those shoulders, release the jaw and take an audible sigh out here... Ahhhhhhh!
You made it. However your year looked you’re here, in this moment.
As we edge closer to the new year, I’ve realised I feel best going into it when there’s a feeling of balance. I love using this time as a gentle marker, placing a huge emphasis on gentle.
There’s no rushing or hitting the ground running, more a kind realignment to what matters, and conjuring up some curiosity and excitement for the year ahead.
A question that comes to mind… What about 2025 feels exciting and hopeful?
For me it’s a part of what makes the remaining winter months more manageable. That knowing that I can start the year slower. I don’t need to rush into all of these resolutions and ways to become my “best self” but I can use the time to consider what I want more of in my life, and how I could potentially start sowing the seeds to make that happen.
In the spirit of this, I’m inviting you to do the same. I’ve narrowed it down to three powerful prompts, so grab yourself a cuppa (and a mince pie or your festive treat of choice), and let’s dive in…
End of year journal prompts
What lessons has 2024 taught you?
Thinking back through the months, consider what’s surprised you this year, what’s felt more challenging, what have you enjoyed and didn’t enjoy so much? Are there any key lessons you want to take into 2025?
What feels expansive, maybe even scary and unachievable to you, but you’d like to see happen next year? How do these things make you feel?
I want you to dream big. I want you to think of the things that maybe you don’t even believe you’re capable of. You don’t need a plan, so disregarding how you may or may not get there. Tap into the sense of excitement and maybe fear these things bring, try to feel it in your body as you write.
Is there a single word, or phrase that sums up all of these things and how you want to feel in 2025?
I love having a guiding word for the year, something to act as an anchor when it comes to making decisions.
Let me know in the comments what feels expansive and exciting to you about 2025…
The Journaling Club in 2025
Given that I’m having a little babe at some point early in spring, I’ve been thinking about how I can still make the Journaling Club work in a way that feels exciting.
With this, there’s a few changes coming for 2025 that honestly, I feel really excited about. I want the club to have even more of a community feel and a real sense of reflection, so, here’s the plan…
We’ll be meeting bi-monthly, offering more space and time to action intentions and reflect.
It will be changing from a start time of 8pm to 7:30pm, and will be an hour long session. I wanted to find a way to give you the same value, and an hour long makes the most sense to include a longer grounding meditation to start.
We’ll have time for community input and reflection. So much of the wisdom is within sharing and within you, I want to bring more of a sharing circle element to the journaling club, inviting you to share anything that comes up in a space that feels positive and supportive. The sessions will no longer be a recorded, and a place for us to really connect and check-in.
I hope you agree that these changes feel like the best next step, I’m already feeling excited for January’s session and using it as a way to honour the new year…

Dear Jodie
Thank you for the journal prompts. I just wanted to write an end of year thank you as I’ve really enjoyed reading you here and watching you on YouTube this year.
It’s so lovely to watch you growing as a mum too.
Peaceful moments and best wishes to you
