This is the second newsletter as part of my new confidence series where I’m documenting re-building my confidence, sharing the behind the scenes for my creative work & how I’m finding the courage to do what feels scary! The full newsletter is available to Slower Space paid subscribers. Join us to gain access to the series AND the Monthly Reflection & Intention Setting sessions…

Lately, I’ve realised something that I didn’t quite understand before starting this series...

I haven't been looking for more confidence to continue the work I do. I've been looking for the courage to rip up the rulebook I'd created and reorient.

reorient: to change the aim or purpose of something so that it is directed at a different person or thing

To give myself permission to change my mind and start again.

To follow what I’m pulled towards and what feels exciting, despite all of the mental chatter telling me to stay where I am and do what feels familiar.

For a long time, I’ve pushed myself to act on and live by a version of success that wasn’t mine.

I’ve outsourced, looking for answers everywhere else but myself…

So, last month when I decided to let go of my longest standing, highest paying marketing client - it felt like I was really turning a corner.
