I like how you said journaling can be your cue that you need to dig a bit deeper on something. I resonated with this. Journaling helps me see where I get stuck in thought patterns or if I need support. And vice versa too, it helps me see how much I’ve grown and what things I’ve created/brought to life! Thanks, Jodie 😌

It's so useful for that isn't it. Journaling has definitely been the reason I've gone back to therapy, it helped me go self employed - honestly I feel like it's helped me spot real big changes I've needed to make

I don’t journal consistently, but more so when I feel called to. It felt so good last week to journal for the first time in months that I want to make more of a habit. Since it had been so long since I journaled previously, it was interesting to reread it and notice how different my life is now

I love re-reading my older journals, agreed it's interesting to notice the differences (and actually how much can happen in a short space of time)

Thank you for sharing this article, Jodie! I love how you shared your process with journaling and how you take the pressure off by not forcing a daily practice. I have been journaling for more than 20 years and I have never forced myself to do it everyday. My journal is like a trusty companion and I carry it with me everywhere in case the mood strikes to write. I also use it like you to be mindful of patterns of thinking over time so I can discern when I am stuck and need to support myself to shift. Thanks again for sharing! ❤️
