I used to feel the same about autumn and winter, and sometimes still do. But poetry and journaling has really helped me to see the small and beautiful shifts of the seasons. As much as I adore summer and always will, I now actually look forward to autumn and getting cosy. Really looking forward to using these prompts! Thank you 🥰

Agreed, I'd love to read more poetry around the changing seasons this year. Have you read wintering my Katherine May? That's a beautiful book that's really helped me appreciate the darker months.

I have yes! I actually read it at the start of the year when we were going through a pretty difficult time. It’s made me appreciate my own winters and the seasonal one so much more 🤍 My autumnal poetry posts will be starting soon too!

Hope you are feeling better Jodie, these are such beautiful enquiries. I adore Autumn these days but like you I used to resist it! Now I just love the spiralling inward and opportunity to go deep into my cocoon!!!! Xx

I love autumn but my only seasonal reading would be during Christmastide!
