I tried during my teens, but three days in, and my mum asked me if she could read it, and I stopped immediately, in the fear she’d do ir without my permission. I only picked it up again last summer where I was so very burned out. I did it everyday, took notes and wrote three things that came to mind in the morning. Now it has evolved to when I need to put to paper, sometkmes it’s everyday, sometimes I end up skipping 3 days. I carry it everywhere tho, as some thoughts xome to when I’m in the middle of sth else. ✨

I love seeing people with journals ... and makes me smile when they say that they carry it with them everywhere...a treasure for sure!!

That’s perfect word for it, a treasure! I’ve been calling it my companion and friend too. I also love when you go to a coffee shop or a park and you see someone scribbling away in a notebook 🥰

I’m not a consistent journaler, but I get the urge to write when I need it most!

It's so interesting how we become drawn to it and it can instinctively feel like a way to move through things!
