I absolutely love this! So much resonated with me – especially eating more protein, because I'm stubborn and didn't for a very long time, but now I am and feel absolutely wonderful 😅 Looking into a Lumie as well, waking up to a phone alarm just isn't setting the right tone for the day anymore. Thank you for sharing <3

I was the exact same! I ignored the advice for years then realised it actually makes the biggest difference😅

"Listening to music as much as I listen to podcasts" - what is it about this one? I listen to podcasts so much more than I listen to music and I am not exactly sure why. I sometimes feel like I almost have to "force" myself to listen to music. Does it feel less accessible to me? Are we just used to people blabbing on and that's why podcasts seem more comforting? I am not sure but it's definitely something I've observed about myself too!

For me I find music really lifts my mood, but podcasts some how became a more comfortable option. Now I'll try to listen to music first thing instead

Agreed, podcasts have become a more comfortable option. I am trying to also opt for music first these days now because it ultimately, it makes me feel better than podcasts.

Jodie, So many of your points felt like they could have been mine, I was nodding along heavily 💖 I was literally like “how is this possible, thought it’s just me” 😅

I'll be honest when I read at the beginning that there were 35 things on a list I felt a bit overwhelmed even before I began but feel the quite opposite now. 35 + 2 small things that have improved your life are 35+ 2 things I could do. I already do quite a few already and having the chance to acknowledge them has given me a little bit of satisfaction. Here are a few more.... warm towels on the radiator ready for when you get out of the shower and for a bonus do the same with underwear or base layers. I know it isn't radiator season yet, putting your plants outside on a rainy day to give them a different type of drink and experience, getting your cup and tea bag ready the night before to help with prep and then enjoyment without fuss and then to finish probably one of my favourites...going to a library not necessarily to take a book out but just to sit and read and listen to the conversations from others as they use this space - gentle living in action. Enjoy x

Loved the list and number 5 really made me smile! Simple things, a slower pace, and the satisfaction of completing one thing at a time. Thanks for the article!
