Jodie, I so relate to the feeling of isolation and loneliness when having health struggles. For me, it stems from the health issue itself, but also not wanting to prematurely worry my loved ones.
It’s so hard isn’t it, because loved ones want to help but like you said there’s sometimes that feeling that creeps in of not wanting to be a burden or worry etc!
One of my favorite things of this month so far is going swimming in the swimming pond. Cold when you get it but after a few minutes you are used to it and it’s glorious! I feel so content, swimming on my own, sunshine on my face ☀️☀️
I’ve been wanting to vlog too to be honest but there’s that feeling that my life isn’t interesting enough for it. But then I have to remember how many people I follow simply because I want to see into the world not that they’re particularly interesting ( at least what most people would consider interesting). I think might just give a try finally. 🖤
I’ve been reading a book called the artists way and one of the things it tells you to do is to take yourself on an ‘artists date’ and I’m going to do my first one today - feel nervous about spending that time by myself and letting go of the idea it needs to be productive/creative but I’m also really excited!
omg i went to that talk with pandora and jon too!! i loved it I'm so glad i went (even though i coud barely see both of them😭) also i adore your list, i love hearing reflections like this, you've reminded me i need to plan a solo trip myself!🩷
No way! What a small world, i managed to bag a seat right at the front luckily but it didn’t seem pretty hectic 😅 it was great wasn’t it? So much food for thought!
ahh lucky! i was so early but definitely chose the wrong seat and then was too anxious to move😭 jon was calling me out the entire talk :) but yes he's so insightful!

I haven't been wild swimming once this year, I'm in the Lake District next week and hoping to get a session it - sounds glorious!
